Self
Science communicators must creatively distill the science and see compelling stories within the data. This requires someone who wants to investigate the big picture of science, traverse disciplines, and tell stories – all at once. It is the art of simultaneously informing, inspiring, and fostering the curiosity of the audience. I love this work, and this is my art.
I hold a B.A. in Astronomy & Philosophy (summa cum laude) from the University of Colorado Boulder, and I have extensive science communication experience as a presenter and outreach specialist at Fiske Planetarium.
I’m now pursuing an MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.
I write and produce articles and films about science, philosophy, and history — and where they all intersect.
